1. What is Findcord

Findcord is a Discord server listing and discovery platform. We allow server owners to list their Discord communities and allow users to discover and join them. Findcord is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Discord Inc.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Findcord. By using this service you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.

3. Your account

Findcord uses Discord OAuth to authenticate users. We do not store your Discord password. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.

4. Listing your server

When you submit a server to Findcord you confirm that:

• You are the owner or an admin of the server
• The server description is accurate and not misleading
• The server complies with Discord's own Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
• You have read and agree to our Listing Guidelines

Findcord staff review all submissions before they go live and reserve the right to reject or remove any listing at any time without notice.

5. Prohibited content

The following are strictly prohibited on Findcord:

• Content that sexualises or exploits minors in any way
• Servers promoting violence, hate speech or discrimination
• Scam, phishing or fraudulent servers
• Servers that violate Discord's Terms of Service
• Fake or artificially inflated member counts or stats
• Spam listings or duplicate submissions

6. Reviews

Reviews must be genuine and based on your real experience with the server. You may only leave one review per server. You may not:

• Post fake, misleading or malicious reviews
• Leave reviews for servers you have not genuinely used
• Leave reviews in exchange for any reward or benefit
• Create multiple Discord accounts to post additional reviews
• Be coerced or forced into leaving a review by a server owner

Findcord may remove reviews that violate these terms without notice.

7. Bumping and server promotion

The bump system exists to give all servers a fair chance at visibility. To keep this fair:

• Bumping must be done manually — the use of bots, scripts or automation to bump servers is strictly prohibited
• You may not reward members (with currency, roles, perks or anything else) for bumping your server
• You may not force or pressure members to bump your server
• Each server has a 6-hour bump cooldown which cannot be circumvented

Violations of the bump policy may result in your listing being suspended or removed.

8. The Findcord bot

The Findcord bot requires permission to read basic server information such as member count and online count. The bot will never read private messages, post unsolicited content or take moderation actions. You can remove the bot from your server at any time.

9. Intellectual property

Findcord and its original content, features and functionality are owned by the Findcord team. Server icons, names and descriptions belong to their respective owners. By submitting content to Findcord you grant us a limited licence to display it on the platform.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Findcord at any time if you violate these terms. You may also delete your account at any time from your dashboard.

11. Disclaimer

Findcord is provided as-is without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for the content of listed servers or any interactions that take place within Discord servers discovered through Findcord. Use your own judgement when joining any community.

12. Data and privacy

When you use Findcord we may collect the following information:

• Your Discord username and user ID (provided via Discord OAuth)
• The list of servers you are a member or admin of (provided via Discord OAuth)
• Content you voluntarily submit, including server listings and reviews
• Activity logs such as bumps and page visits

We use this data solely to provide and improve the Findcord service. We do not sell your personal data to third parties. Your data is stored securely and will be retained until you request deletion via the dashboard. For users in the EEA, we comply with applicable data protection laws including GDPR.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Findcord after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
